THE STRUCTURE OF THE MANAGEMENT OF THE ECSMGE 2019 IN ICELAND
The Icelandic Geotechnical Society has nominate profssionals from the industry to lead and build up a successful conference where the key is to fulfill ISSMGE‘s main objectives, to maximize the ISSMGE‘s members experience, to increase awareness of the profession of geotechnical enginnering and to emphasies on all the opportunities it can give our members and the importance for the society, economy and environment. To achieve these objectives it is very important to build up a strong bridge between the Organizing committee and the Advisory committee as well as have good bond to the members of the Scientific committee. Below is the management structure for the conference:
All committees are appointed according to instructions from ISSMGE. The organizing committee consist of representative of IGS board of directors as well as supporting experts from the Nordic countries.
